Tips for an awfully nice pantry

An awfully nice pantry
Organization tips & ideas from an awfully nice pantry to incorporate into your pantry.
The pantry has a clean look & feel
It's somewhat minimalist, but you get the feeling that real people live here.
Everything has breathing room.
But not too much room, like you'd see in an art gallery.
Similar things are together.
Shelves are not stuffed.
The dry food canisters are 1-row deep, which is lovely to see.
Deep shelves look like good design, but they're difficult to keep organized.
You can get away with a few "more or less-s"
Everything can be seen, more or less.
On the less side, the bottom appliance cubby.
See what I mean?
Visibility beyond row 1 (and exception to my 1-deep rule)
Have a look at the tins, 2nd shelf above the counter, far left.
Each row is higher than the row before it.
An absence of common clutter
Notice how there are no overflowing drawers or shelves of reusable bags, water bottles and empty Tupperware?
Something to think about.
Lazy Susan's / Turntables (love them)
There's a turntable on the dry food canister shelf directly above the counter.
Turntables get you more storage without losing visibility. Also, they make tricky-to-use spaces, like triangle cupboard corners, easy-to-use.
I am a super fan.
The list organization improvements in kitchens is endless.
So, I'll just give you two.
Having trouble organizing supplements? Put them on a Lazy Susan.

Tea & spice drawers
T&S drawers are a huge improvement over cupboards, because... drum roll... you can see everything.
Any drawer that's deep enough will work, and you can always lie taller things on their side.
You don't need dividers like the wooden ones in the picture.
If there isn't enough stuff in the drawer to hold everything in place, add something to fill up the empty space. One time I used a Rubik's cube.
